Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group counseling withmodeling techniques to improve students' career planning. With the dependent variable ofcareerplanningandtheindependentvariableofgroupguidancewithmodelingtechniques.ThisresearchdevelopsfromDillard'stheorythattheachievementofanindividual'scareergoals is marked by clear goals after completing school education. This study uses a mixmethod with the explanatory sequential design with data collection techniques usingpurposive sampling which are selected on the basis of certain criteria. So that the sampleofthisstudywere10students.ByUsingInstrumentsdevelopedfromaspectsandindicatorsof career planning according to Dillard. With the results of the paired sample t-test, it isknown that a significant value is 0.002 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is asignificant difference between the results of pre-test and post-test career service deliverydata so that from these results we can conclude that Group guidance with modelingtechniques can improve student career planning. So that if the hypothesis formula isentered,itcanbeconcludedthatHoisrejectedandHaisaccepted.jaldidalpaltconcludedthat group guidance with modeling techniques could improve student calculus predictionsdalpalt dalpalt balhwal showed changes in daltal halsil pre-test in post-test, dimal daltalhalsil pre-test increased compared to pre-test before giving additional treatment beforebeinggivenguidancegroupalnwithmodelingtechniques.Thisshowsthatgroupguidancewithmodelingtechniques can improvestudentcareerplanning.
