Abstract

This research explores the implementation of adult education management in pencak silat organizations, especially in persaudaraan setia hati terate (PSHT) Lamongan branch. Adults as unique individuals have an important role in societal activities. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of adult education management in pencak silat organizations, and to describe the characteristics of adults in pencak silat organizations. This research uses a qualitative research approach with case study research type. The research results illustrate program planning based on the active participation of students in determining program activities. Organizing human resources is a key element in the organizational structure. The movement of learning citizens is realized through various routine training activities every Saturday. Continuous development is carried out through dialogue, member meetings, questions and answers, and activities to strengthen the sense of brotherhood. Program evaluation to evaluate program implementation and goal achievement. Apart from that, the unique characteristics of adults have a self-concept, life experience is a determining factor in choosing a program, readiness to learn, orientation to learning as a place for friendship, and increased knowledge about the cultural values of pencak silat. The pencak silat program has a significant contribution in individual development. The implications of this research can help pencak silat organizations and adult educational institutions to improve program effectiveness, increase participation, and strengthen social and cultural values.
