Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Pada Anak Usia Dini di Lingkungan Pesantren

Minimnya kajian tentang integrasi pendidikan islam dengan kearifan lokal di lembaga PAUD Pesantren, padahal praktik tersebut berpotensi dalam membentuk karakter anak sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal pada anak usia dini di lingkungan pesantren serta menganalisis pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan karakter anak. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan lokasi Pondok Pesantren Taman Bunga Pamekasan yang memiliki unit PAUD. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal diterapkan melalui pembelajaran formal di kelas, keterlibatan anak dalam kegiatan keagamaan pesantren, dan pembiasaan perilaku sehari-hari. Selain itu, Tradisi pesantren seperti tahlilan, marhabanan, kenduri, gotong royong, dan penghormatan kepada guru menjadi media efektif untuk menanamkan nilai religius, sopan santun, kebersamaan, kemandirian, dan kepedulian sosial pada anak. Selanjutnya, Keteladanan guru dan pengasuh pesantren berperan penting dalam keberhasilan penerapan nilai-nilai tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model pendidikan Islam berbasis kearifan lokal di Pondok Pesantren Taman Bunga Pamekasan mampu membentuk akhlak mulia sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya anak. Temuan ini, dapat menjadi alternatif strategis dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter anak usia dini, khususnya di wilayah dengan tradisi islami lokal yang masih terjaga.
There is a lack of studies on the integration of Islamic education with local wisdom in Islamic boarding school early childhood education institutions, even though this practice has the potential to shape children's character from an early age. This study aims to describe the application of local wisdom-based Islamic education in early childhood in Islamic boarding schools and analyze its influence on character building in children. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach at the Taman Bunga Pamekasan Islamic Boarding School, which has an early childhood education unit. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Islamic education based on local wisdom was implemented through formal classroom learning, children's involvement in pesantren religious activities, and the habit of daily behavior. In addition, pesantren traditions such as tahlilan, marhabanan, kenduri, gotong royong, and respect for teachers are effective media for instilling religious values, manners, togetherness, independence, and social awareness in children. Furthermore, the exemplary behavior of teachers and pesantren caregivers plays an important role in the successful application of these values. This study concludes that the local wisdom-based Islamic education model at the Taman Bunga Islamic Boarding School in Pamekasan is capable of shaping noble character while strengthening identity.
