EFEKTIVITAS LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK DENGAN TEKNIK DISKUSI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PERENCANAAN KARIR SISWA KELAS IX SMPN 01 CIHAMPELAS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness in the process of implementing group guidance services with discussion techniques to improve career planning of grade IX students of SMPN 01 Cihampelas. The method of this research is a mix method using the explanatory sequential design with one group pretest-posttest design. This sampling technique uses a purposive sampling technique. The purposive sampling technique is a data collection technique with certain characteristics. The subjects in this study are grade IX students of SMPN 01 Cihampelas with a population of 31 students and a sample consisting of 8 students. The data collection used in this study uses career planning instruments. The data analysis used in this study uses a paired t test with the help of the SPSS version 23 program. The process of implementing group guidance services with discussion techniques was carried out in 5 sessions. So it can be concluded that based on the results of the paired t test with a value of 0.000 < 0.05, it shows that the Ho hypothesis is rejected and the Ha hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is an influence on group guidance services with discussion techniques to improve the career planning of grade IX students of SMPN 01 Cihampelas.
