Social interaction is a relationship between two or more individuals, where the behavior of one individual influences, changes or improves the behavior of another individual or vice versa, based on the phenomenon of lack of social interaction among students which is the background for this research. The aim of this research is to determine the description of students' social interactions, the process of implementing services, and the effectiveness of role playing technique group guidance services to improve social interactions for class VII students at SMP PGRI Ngamprah. The method used in this research is Mix Method or a mixture of quantitative and qualitative approaches, with an explanatory sequential research design. Quantitative data collection techniques use social interaction questionnaires, while qualitative data collection is based on interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the research obtained an overview of the dominant level of social interaction of students in the low category at a percentage of 66%. The results of the research showed that there were changes in students after being given group guidance services using effective role playing techniques to increase social interaction in class VII students at SMP PGRI Ngamprah.
