This study aims to enhance the career maturity of high school students through group counseling using the self management technique, employing a mixed-method design known as the Explanatory Sequential Design. The research sample consisted of 8 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that the self management technique was effective for this purpose. The average pretest score was 95.625, while the posttest score reached 246.25, with an improvement of 27.5. The paired sample t-test showed a result of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant increase between pretest and posttest scores. The counseling process consisted of four stages: formation, transition, activity, and closure. The challenges encountered during the study included a lack of student response, inadequate facilities, minimal student engagement, time constraints, and a lack of openness from the students. Despite these challenges, the study yielded positive results, demonstrating that the self management technique effectively improved the career maturity of 11th-grade students at MAN 1 Subang.
