LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK: PENERAPAN TEKNIK BIBLIOKONSELING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA SDN 17 BENTENG

This study was motivated by the low learning interest of students at SDN 17 Benteng, as indicated by a lack of motivation to read and difficulties in understanding lessons. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of applying bibliocounseling techniques through group guidance services in increasing students' learning interest. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 12 students from classes 5A and 5B, selected using purposive sampling based on their low level of learning interest. The research instrument used was a learning interest scale questionnaire. Data analysis results showed a significant increase in the average learning interest scores of students after treatment, from 72.75 (pretest) to 83.58 (posttest). The hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 ≤ 0.05, indicating a significant difference between before and after the treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of bibliocounseling techniques through group guidance services is effective in increasing students' learning interest. This technique has a positive impact through the use of relevant reading materials, helps students identify problems, and significantly improves their motivation and engagement in the learning process at SDN 17 Benteng.
