TEKNIK MANAGEMENT UNTUK MENINGKATAN KEDISIPLINAN BELAJAR SISWA SMK NEGERI 9 LUWU

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of self-management techniques in improving students' learning discipline at SMK Negeri 9 Luwu. The background of this research is the low level of discipline among students, reflected in behaviors such as arriving late, failing to complete assignments, and lacking responsibility in the learning process. This research used a quantitative approach with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consisted of 16 students divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control group, with 8 students in each. Data were collected using a discipline scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed a significant increase in discipline in the experimental group after receiving group guidance services using self-management techniques. This improvement indicates that self-management techniques are effective in helping students develop responsibility for learning, manage their time, and improve compliance with school rules. Based on the results, it can be concluded that self-management techniques can serve as an alternative counseling strategy to reduce undisciplined behavior and support students in achieving optimal academic performance.
