PENGARUH INTERAKSI TEMAN SEBAYA TERHADAP PERILAKU MORAL PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI DI SMAN 2 SIJUNJUNG

This research is motivated by the phenomenon in the field, namely that there are still students who violate school rules such as cheating, leaving during PBM, smoking in the school yard, playing with cellphones during PBM, feeling inferior. The objectives of this study are 1) Description of peer interactions of students at SMAN 2 Sijunjung, 2) Description of moral behavior of students at SMAN 2 Sijunjung and 3) Testing the influence of peer interactions on moral behavior of grade XI students at SMAN 2 Sijunjung. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational methods. The study population was 241 people, with a simple random sampling technique so that a sample of 103 students was obtained. The instrument used was a questionnaire, while the data analysis technique in this study was simple linear regression analysis. Based on the research, the following results were obtained: 1) Peer interaction of class XI students is in the very good category, namely 53.4%, 2) Moral behavior of students is in the very good category, namely 52.4% and 3) There is a significant influence between peer interaction on the moral behavior of class XI students of SMAN 2 Sijunjung by 77.9% which means strong. Based on these findings, researchers recommend that students must continue to maintain and improve the quality of interaction with their peers, such as mutual respect, support in positive things, and avoid negative behavior.
