Abstract

High school is a time when students are still confused about their choices after graduating from school, whether to continue to a higher level or choose to work. The impact of students not knowing about career planning is that students are worried about choosing the wrong choice. This research aims to test the feasibility and effectiveness of Sparkol scribe video media in improving students' career planning. In research, using the Research and Development (R&D) research method. However, in this case there are steps for developing career planning video media products consisting of seven stages, namely, 1) potential and problems, 2) data collection,3)product design, 4) design validation, 5) design revision, 6) product testing, 7) product revision. The sample in the research was class XII MA An-Nur Cikalongwetan. The Microsoft Excel application was used in this research for data processing. The results of the feasibility test that was carried out on media experts, material experts, practitioners and students obtained a result of 76.59%. The Sparkol video scribe media that was developed had quite an impact on the percentage results of students' career planning levels from 53.08% to 71.26% or an increase of 18.18%. The conclusions in this research are: 1) video media in classical guidance to improve students' career planning behavior is suitable for use, and 2) video media in classical guidance is effective in use for students' career planning.
