Focus and Scope
JP-Pro (Journal of Professional Service) is a scholarly journal published by the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program at IKIP Siliwangi. It serves as a dissemination platform for community service activities aimed at enhancing quality and fostering innovation within the teaching profession. The journal provides a venue for academics, teachers, education practitioners, students, and stakeholders to publish service-oriented practices that make tangible contributions to improving educational quality and strengthening teachers' professional competencies.
JP-Pro accepts articles derived from community service activities that focus primarily on the development of teacher professional education. This includes—but is not limited to—the application of research findings, instructional innovations, mentoring, training, empowerment initiatives, and collaborations involving higher education institutions, schools, government bodies, and the community. Published articles are expected to go beyond merely describing program implementation; they should also present the impact, utility, and "best practices" that can be replicated across various educational contexts.
The scope of JP-Pro publications includes, but is not limited to:
- implementation of teacher professional education policies;
- evaluation of teacher professional education programs;
- development of models, strategies, and innovations in teacher professional education;
- enhancement of teachers' pedagogical, professional, social, and personal competencies;
- mentoring for the implementation of curricula, instruction, and assessment;
- utilization of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in teacher professional development;
- strengthening partnerships among higher education institutions, schools, and the community to support teacher professionalism; and
- various forms of community service contributing to the improvement of educational service quality.
Through an objective editorial and peer-review process, JP-Pro is committed to publishing high-quality, innovative, and impactful community service articles. These serve as a valuable resource for teacher professional development and strengthen the synergy between academia and educational practice, ultimately fostering sustainable improvements in the quality of education.

Author Guidelines
Manuscripts submitted to JP-Pro (Jurnal Pengabdian Profesi) must report on original community service activities that have not been previously published and are not currently under review by another journal.
Articles must be written in proper Indonesian and adhere to the journal's official template. The article content must include an informative title, abstract, keywords, introduction, implementation methods, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments (if applicable), and references.
Authors are required to explain the program's novelty, its relevance to the development of the education profession, the resulting outputs, the impact on partners, and the sustainability of the activities.
All data, figures, tables, and citations must be presented accurately and comply with the journal's designated reference style.
Authors are encouraged to use primary and up-to-date literature to strengthen the scientific basis, and must ensure the manuscript is free from plagiarism, adheres to publication ethics, and has undergone a thorough review process prior to submission.
Peer Review Process
Jurnal JP-Pro (Jurnal Pengabdian Profesi) : Educational Scientific Journal, is a peer-reviewed journal that is published three times a year starting in 2025. The articles in this journal must be written in Indonesian. This journal focuses on education and learning issues. All documents submitted are put through a double review process. The journal receives articles on the results of community service and theoretical study articles from the results of community service, which will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. After the manuscript is sent online, the journal editor checks the manuscript and determines its suitability for full peer review. If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be sent to one or more peer reviewers. The journal editorial board will then consider a peer review report and compile a final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication.
Publication Frequency
Jurnal JP-Pro (Jurnal Pengabdian Profesi) is publish twice in one year in January, May and September.
Article Withdrawal Policy
JP-Pro (Jurnal Pengabdian Profesi) is committed to upholding the integrity of the scholarly publication process through professional and transparent editorial and peer-review practices that adhere to publication ethics principles. Therefore, authors are expected to ensure that submitted manuscripts are ready for publication and are not currently under consideration by other journals.
Requests to withdraw a manuscript will only be considered if there is a valid, clear, and justifiable reason. Withdrawing a manuscript without an acceptable reason can disrupt the editorial process and result in a waste of the time and resources allocated by editors and reviewers.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
JP-Pro (Journal of Professional Service) operates a no-publication-fee policy (No Article Processing Charge/APC) as part of its commitment to supporting the dissemination of community service outcomes in the field of teacher professional education. Authors incur no costs at any stage of the publication process—ranging from manuscript submission, peer review, copyediting, and layout editing to article publication and the provision of open access. All manuscripts are processed objectively based on scientific quality, novelty, relevance to the journal's scope, and peer review outcomes, without financial considerations influencing editorial decisions.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
