Abstract

This research is motivated by problems in online learning to write negotiating texts. In this study, a further analysis was carried out on the application of online learning to write negotiating texts using a qualitative descriptive method, namely to seek what teachers did in improving the quality of learning in writing negotiating texts by using a contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach with the aid of poster media. This research was conducted in class X MIPA 1 with 20 students as research subjects. In this study, the learning process was carried out using a CTL (contextual teaching and learning) approach with the aid of poster media. In an effort to measure the increase in online learning outcomes, the material for writing negotiating texts uses a CTL (contextual teaching and learning) approach with the help of poster media. The contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach was chosen because it was felt that it could train students to relate the material to everyday life in negotiating activities. So that poster media will help students to create or express creative ideas in writing negotiating texts.
