Focus and Scope
Jurnal Abdimas Siliwangi is a scholarly journal focused on publishing the outcomes of community service initiatives—efforts that apply science, technology, arts, and innovation to address the challenges and needs of society.
The journal serves as a platform for disseminating community service work aimed at enhancing the quality of education, strengthening community capacity and self-reliance, empowering local potential, and fostering sustainable development. The published initiatives prioritize participatory, collaborative, and innovative approaches tailored to the needs of partners, with outcomes and impacts that can be evaluated.
Jurnal Abdimas Siliwangi places a primary emphasis on the fields of education, pedagogical innovation, and community empowerment, while also welcoming multidisciplinary community service projects that make a tangible contribution to improving the well-being and quality of life of the community.
The scope of *Jurnal Abdimas Siliwangi* encompasses the results of community service activities in the following fields:
1. Education and Learning: Learning innovations, development of educator competencies, inclusive education, and the strengthening of literacy and numeracy.
2. Technology and Digital Transformation: Digital literacy, the application of artificial intelligence, appropriate technology, and technology-based innovations.
3. Community Empowerment: Strengthening community capacity, skills development, community empowerment, and enhancing community self-reliance.
4. Entrepreneurship and the Creative Economy: Development of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), entrepreneurship, product innovation, digital marketing, and local economic empowerment.
5. Public Health: Health education, nutritional improvement, disease prevention, and the promotion of healthy living behaviors.
6. Arts, Culture, and Local Wisdom: Cultural preservation, development of art communities, cultural literacy, and empowerment based on local wisdom.
7. Environment and Sustainable Development: Environmental education, waste management, eco-friendly technology, and sustainable community empowerment.
Peer Review Process
Abdimas Siliwangi Journal: Educational Scientific Journal, is a peer-reviewed journal that is published twice a year starting in 2018. The articles in this journal must be written in Indonesian. This journal focuses on education and learning issues. All documents submitted are put through a double review process. The journal receives articles on the results of community service and theoretical study articles from the results of community service, which will be reviewed by at least 2 (two) reviewers. After the manuscript is sent online, the journal editor checks the manuscript and determines its suitability for full peer review. If it passes the initial screening, the manuscript will be sent to one or more peer reviewers. The journal editorial board will then consider a peer review report and compile a final decision to accept or reject the manuscript for publication.
Publication Frequency
Abdimas Siliwangi journal is publish twice in one year in January and July. However, starting in 2022 the Abdimas Siliwangi Journal is publish three times a year, namely in February, Juni, and October.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Author Fees
This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (IDR)
Article Publication: 250.000 (IDR)
The payment also includes the cost of sending the hardcopy to the corresponding author (on request and only for Indonesian Authors).
DOI registration for each paper.
Checking articles for similarity by Turnitin; final results will be sent to the author (upon request).
