Abstract

Fine motor skills are the ability to control movements through the coordination of the nervous system, fibrils, and muscles such as fingers and hands. Fine motor skills also play an important role in the process of developing cognitive abilities in early childhood. This research is to look at ways to develop motor skills in early childhood. The study was conducted using qualitative descriptive (single case multi site case study design) involving 2 teachers. Data is collected through observation and interviews, then analyzed by thematic. The results showed that fine motor development research was conducted using the assignment method in four ways: (i) Providing tools and materials, (ii) providing direction and opportunities for training, (iii) spending children with individuals and groups, (iv) Successful improve their motor skills. This lesson shows how to use it can be used in developing fine motor skills at early childhood.
