Abstract

Female heads of households (PEKKA) often face complex socio-economic challenges, particularly in maintaining family economic resilience. This situation is exacerbated by limited access to entrepreneurship education and low economic literacy among women at the grassroots level. Social entrepreneurship training is seen as an effective strategy to empower PEKKA to become agents of change in their communities while simultaneously improving family welfare. This community service activity aims to provide mentoring and training in social entrepreneurship based on local potential, strengthening managerial capacity, and developing business networks. Zimmerman's empowerment theory and Dees' (2001) social entrepreneurship approach serve as the primary theoretical foundations for this activity. The implementation method uses a participatory training model through an andragogical approach, with evaluation using pre-posttests and in-depth interviews. The training results showed significant improvements in understanding the concept of social entrepreneurship, strengthened entrepreneurial motivation, and the ability to develop community-based business plans. The conclusion of this activity confirms that social entrepreneurship training has a significant contribution to family economic resilience and opens up opportunities for cross-sector collaboration to support an inclusive, community-based economy.
