Pengembangan Mathventure: Media interaktif kontekstual VBA excel untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis

This research aims to analyze the development process of contextual interactive learning media in improving junior high school students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The research method uses the Development method with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were class VIII students at one of Cimahi City Middle Schools with 6 students during limited trials, 35 students during extensive trials, and 80 students during product trials. Data was collected through observation, distributing questionnaires, and problem solving ability test questions, then analyzed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 27 software. The research results showed that the media was declared feasible with a validation level of 97,80% from media experts, 98,18% from material experts, and 97,04% from language experts. Furthermore, the media was proven to be effective in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities with an average posttest score for the experimental class of 87,69 which was higher than the control class of 61,69. The N-Gain value for the experimental class reached 0,86 in the high category, compared to the control class which only reached 0,57 in the medium category. The results of the one-party Mann-Whitney test further strengthen this finding with a significance result of 0,0005.
