Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Talking Stick learning model on the ability to write pantun of class VII students of SMP Trampil Jakarta. The research method used is an experimental method with a post-test only control group design. The population was 102 students, the number of samples used in this study was 56 students, using a random sampling technique, the instrument used in this study was an assessment sheet. The results of this study indicate that based on the calculation of SPSS version 25 that the p value <0.001 or p value <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant effect in using the Talking Stick learning model on the ability to write pantun of class VII students of SMP Trampil Jakarta, because with this learning model it produces a higher average value of 81 compared to the average value of learning outcomes using the Jigsaw learning model of 68.
