Author Fees

Jurnal Profesi Pendidikan (JPP) charges the following fees per article:

When the fee is charged
The Article Processing Charge is charged only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. No fee is charged for submission, review, or rejected manuscripts. The fee applies per article, regardless of the number of authors, and is paid by the authors or their institutions upon receipt of an invoice from the editorial office.

What the fee covers
The APC supports the costs of open-access publication and journal management, including:

1. manuscript handling, copyediting, and layout editing;
2. similarity checking using Turnitin (the report is available to authors upon request);
3. DOI registration with Crossref;
4. online publication, indexing, and long-term archiving;
5. [a printed copy sent to the corresponding author upon request, for authors in Indonesia only].

Waiver Policy
Authors who are unable to pay the APC due to limited funding, including authors from low-income countries, may request a full or partial waiver. Requests must be stated in the Comments for the Editor field at the time of submission; requests made after acceptance may not be considered. Waivers are decided by the Editor-in-Chief.

Editorial independence
The payment of fees, or a request for a waiver, has no influence on the peer review process or the editorial decision.
