Manuscript Types

JPMI (Jurnal Pembelajaran Matematika Inovatif) accepts the following types of manuscripts. All submissions undergo initial editorial screening and, if deemed suitable, the same double-blind peer-review process.

Type Description Length References
Original Research Article Empirical research in mathematics education, including quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, classroom action research, design-based research, and research and development (R&D). Minimum 5,000 words and maximum 20 pages using the journal template, excluding references. Minimum 15 references. At least 80% must be primary sources, and at least 75% must have been published within the last five years.
Review Article Systematic literature reviews, scoping reviews, or meta-analyses following a recognized methodological protocol, such as PRISMA, where applicable. Authors must email a brief proposal to the Editor for consideration before submitting the full manuscript. Maximum 35 pages using the journal template. Minimum 50 references.

All manuscripts must comply with JPMI's author guidelines and formatting requirements. Meeting the requirements for manuscript type, length, and references does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
