Abstract

Teacher Professional Education (PPG) is an important advanced program in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. PPG is designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and real practice in the field, ensuring prospective teachers have the necessary skills and knowledge. This study aims to identify ways to increase teacher professionalism through the PPG program, as well as its impact on the quality of education. This research method involves analysis of secondary data from previous studies on the effectiveness of PPG in improving the quality of education and teacher professionalism. The research results show that PPG can increase teacher professionalism through an innovative curriculum, intensive field practice, continuous training, development of ethical values, and systematic performance evaluation. With the right support, PPG becomes a strong foundation in forming professional, competent and highly dedicated teachers. PPG is a crucial element in achieving the vision of quality education in Indonesia, with an important role in equipping teachers with the necessary skills and competencies.
